Dubai, December 2021 – Toppan FutureCard, a Toppan Company, and UAE-based global end-to-end card solutions provider, collaborates with SimpliFi, a Card as a Service (CaaS) platform with headquarters in the UAE, to boost end-to-end card issuance services in Middle East, North Africa, and Pakistan.
With the rising demand of digitalization, Fintech services became an essential sector within the financial industries in the Middle Eastern region. Today, there are various new Fintech start-ups operating in the region, with a projection of rising from 30 companies in 2017 to 465 Fintech companies by 2022*. Being at the forefront of the Fintech startups in the region, UAE’s total value of digital payment transactions has more than doubled in the last two years and reached US$18.5 billion in 2020, according to the World Digital Report 2021**.
Toppan FutureCard is aiming to support the emerging Fintech start-up sector by offering fast and flexible onboarding programs whilst SimpliFi a ‘Cards-as-a-Service’ platform provider for MENA and Pakistan is on a mission to democratize card issuance by enabling businesses to issue cards across multiple markets. The two companies have signed a partnership agreement, in which both sides agree that Toppan FutureCard provides SimpliFi with state-of-the-art card production and fulfillment services as well as seamless customer onboarding solutions.
